Clown pairing

Does anyone know the probabillity of my occelaris clown pairing up if i add a black occelaris?

So onyx i'm assuming is the black clown? Are they a different breed altogether or same but just different colour? Hope i don't sound stupid...
 
its hard to say, if the tank is large enough and they don't pair, you wont really have to worry about any bad fighting problems if you did give it a shot.

Clowns are usually the easiest as the largest more dominate turning female no matter the SP as I've read, which kinda opens the door, the longer the two are together.

Sounds good, will try it. The tank is 190g so hopefully shouldnt have a prob with fighting.
 
definitely not with a 190 lol. Let us know how it goes, just keep in mind it could take several months to happen if ever.
 
oh.. yeah.. a 190 is plenty.. 19 on the other hand....

onyx is just a term for black percs/occelaris
im just not sure if they'll see eachother as the same species or not.. i introduced my older clown to a juvi about 6 months ago and they didn't pair up and they were both the normal color morph and significantly different in size..
so IME it's a slippery slope
