Clown pleco growth rate

hey i just bought a 2 inch clown pleco whats the growth rate with these i want to put it in my 180 g but when it hits 4 inches, what do i feed it , i sold my sail fin spotted plecos that were 5 inches each and bought this since it was nicer thank u

My clown pleco has only grown maybe 1/2" since I got it, that was about a year ago. I feed it alge wafers and it's only about 1 1/2" long.

To each their own I guess, to me the spotted sailfins are better. I haven't had a clown since the mid 90's.

i bought my clown in october-2010...at 3 inches...i'd say now hes about 4...But i feed him everything under the sun...clown loaches eat driftwood, so i have a nice chunk in there that he never leaves...they eat tank algae....i feed him cucumbers, zucchini, wafers, shrimp pellets ( never seen him eat those...but im not awake at all hours of the night), lettuce, broccoli, and sometimes squash...

hmm slow growers
