Clown Pleco in a 2.5 ???

Has anyone kept a clown pleco in a 2.5 gallon successfully doing a weekly water change kind of like betta care or is this a bad idea?? I have an empty 2.5 and I wasn't something different other then a betta,goldfish or minnow. I was thinking possibly a dwarf frog. Anyone have any thought??? Thanks

How about otocinclus, or if you can find one LDA035 pleco?

Problem is these fish do better in groups.

A clown pleco will be okay in a 2.5 gallon. But you must be diligent about the maintenance.

I'd say it's a tough one. Personally the clowns I've had before never moved and would have worked in a 2.5 gallon but I have seen posts from a few that said they had active clowns

I think it would be cruel. 10g minimum.
