Clown Pleco tank-mates

What would go well with a Clown Pleco?

I bought him on a whim and put him my tank with my loaches I was growing out. Killed 2 of them (noticed him latched on the side sad day =() Now he is currently with 5 Tiger Barbs which but getting a 55Gal that the loaches and Angels are going into.

What can go with him in a 29Gal tank with 2 Gourami and 5 Tiger Barbs?

I doubt your clown pleco killed them. Plecos will rasp on dead fish. Clown plecos are not aggressive and if it is a clown pleco it's way too small to kill them.

They fo good with most if not all small fish that require the same conditions. Thing is clown plecos need wood and should be fed veggies.

I fed veggies, had drift wood (still does) and I came home one day and saw him on the side of one of the loaches whom was alive.....once I moved had no problem with deaths, maybe coincidence.

But what else could go in the tank?

yeah he definitely didn't kill your fish they sometimes just suck dead fish.

Plecos sometimes just chill on other fish as well and it dies not mean they are sucking of the slime coat.

Corys will go well with them. I have a trio of clown plecs with my corys. I never see the clown plecos lol
