Clown/ Rubbernosed Pleco Info

Does anyone have info on Clown plecos or Rubbernosed (Rubber lip) plecos? I'm setting up a 55 in a few weeks and I'm going to make up my mind about which species I'd like in a few months. I'm looking for:

Max Size
Diet
Surroundings preferences
Temp preference
Sexing & Breeding info
Behavior as juveniles & as adults

RN are better algae grazers. Clowns are panaques (wood eaters), so they generate effectively a lot of sawdust/waste. Both mainly herbivores.

RN like cooler water and higher aeration.

Roughly the same size.

Easier to breed clowns.
