Clown with ghost combo?

How would they do together? I have them in separate tanks right now. The ghost is 4 inches, the clown is 5. They would be in a 125. I've heard certain knife fish don't do well together. The clown lives with a brown knife in the 125 currently and they get along just fine. I would move the brown knife to a different tank if three knife fish together is too much. Lots of places to hide btw!

Try it at least for a few hours or until you are quite sure there is no aggression. Observe them at night specially. If they are okay, I'd say that will last until either of them hits 10-12". I say this from from someone who has seen clowns wrestle to death after swimming in-sync for the first 30 minutes.
 
I had this combo for a few months. Only reason I separated them was that the BGK was getting big enough to move. During the 3 months they were together, I didn't have a problem. Each were under 7"at the time.

i have a 3" BGK in my 120 with 14 clowns 2-4". no problems

They were in a 75g. Then the BGK went to the 110g while the CK stayed in the 75g. Now that the CK is about the same size, I'm thinking of switching them.

Cool. So it sounds like for the most part all the rumors about too many knives in one tank is false then?

Knifefish rumour your thinking of usualy referes to the clown knives or royal clowns. Many people have kept clowns with bgk with no issues. I personaly wouldn't try it, but you shouldn't feel discouraged.
