Clownfish

Ive wanted to get 2 clownfish but ive heard if i get 2 different types then they will be aggresive towards each other. I wanted an ocellaris clown and a black and white ocellaris. Are these 2 fine together or would it be bad to put them together?

I'm kinda new at this but what research i've done I know that different types of clowns in the same tank is not a good idea. I believe they tend to be aggressive towards one another. I do recommend you PM Mr. Reef and ask. I'm sure he'll give you details. (that freakin guy knows everything) LOL

they are technically the same kind of fish... just a different color morph.. they should be fine, they may even pair up

I have had both(occel) together with no problems. Clowns do not mix real well between species only luck I have had was true percs with skunks, marrons and sebaes can be holly terrors even to other fish beside clowns.

They would fight you can add 2 of the same but not to different clown's or they'll fight till one die's.
