Clownknife Not Getting To Food

Just picked up a Clownknife. He seems pretty intimidated to go up and eat when I put in the food because the chiclids and other big guys bum rush to the top like an army. I've yet to see him get to eat anything.

What do you suggest throwing in that he will eat or get to? Sinking pellets? Some live food like mollies? He's pretty big, around 12 inches I think.

just get sinking pellets.. imo ck's wont go to the surface unless desperate

Most CK won't even eat pellets. They are a fish that will sometimes starve themselves.
