I don't know much about them and i was wondering if $9.99 was a good price for a 6''? I think it sounds good but feed back would be helpful. Also what are the best tank mates for one.

Good price, there not the most expensive fish out there for sure! Lol as for tank mates gars go very well with them. Anything thats not to agressive should be fine. My rck is pushing 18" and starting to get very territorial. So as he grows your tank mate options should open up more. Dont under estamate these guys though, they can eat fish much larger than you might think.
Price is fair and for tank mates I would go with gars, arowanas, catfish and datniods

Price is fine. As for tankmates...anything that isn't too aggressive or anything that can fit in it's mouth. Pbass, Gars, Polys, Aros, Dats, etc...just got to watch their size difference as they grow.
