Clowns and malaysian trumpets

Has anyone tried this? I'm breaking down a tank and I have a ton of Malaysian trumpets to find homes (or tummies) for.

I know my FW puffers didn't touch them cause the shells are too thick. Is there any chance of clowns choking on them? Would they just leave them alone?

We have 13 clowns ranging from about 2.5" to a bit over 6".

its fine they will eat them with no problems.

They may or may not eat them. My yoyos had more success consuming them than the clowns did. The snout shape is a factor to be considered. My tiger loaches finished off all the MTS from one plant rather quickly but these are also adept at pulling them out from under rocks as well.

They will usually eat them. I have no snails.
