clowns in bare tanks??

i was just wondering. how would clown loaches do in bare bottom tank enviroment? like a group of 3.

They like wellplanted tanks.

I think having substrate along with a lot of places to hide will help the clowns feel more comfortable in the tank. I think they're more skittish in a bare bottom tank.
