Clowns with plants

Will clowns destroy plants was going to add some to my tank I would put them in pots so they can not be uprooted by them. But will they just see them as food, would I have more success with fake ones.

Nah harmless. I've got 10 and they leave the plants alone.

Then on the other hand my clowns up rooted and punched holes in all of my plants including java fern. Thats why I gave up plants in all of my tanks lol.

Haha I went to get some real ones but the shop had some really shoddy plants so I opted for fake ones.
