CNN reporter Reza Aslan has been under heavy criticism as a result of him eating parts of a human brain while he filmed a segment in India.
The spectacle,which was filmed to be part of a series called Believer drew disgust from many viewers and backlash from scores of American Hindus after it was shown this past Sunday.
Aslan spent some time with the Aghori sect when he was offered to eat some cooked brain tissue during a ritual.He also had ashes from cremated human bodies smeared onto his face and he drank a concoction from out of a human skull.
At one point an Aghori guru became upset with Reslan for talking during the ritual and threatened to cut off Reslan's head.Instead,the guru opted to eat a little of his own feces and throw some at Reslan.
Reslan commented"I feel like I have made a mistake"......ehh,you think?
