Hi all

I have a 75 gallon long planted tank.

Filter is a cascade 1000 on the left of the tank using spray bar outlet, and an emperor 400 HOB on the right side of the tank. On the left side is a fluval 3 internal filter with sponge media.

I have pressurized CO2 cranked through a generic green diffuser on the far left side of the tank in front of the glass and about 3 bubbles per second.

on the far right side of the glass, oposite of the diffuser is a bubble counter with purchased 4dkh solution in it.

At the moment the bubble counter gets to a greenish blue color by 4 in the afternoon when the co2 shuts off. How to I get better diffusion?

Can anyone explain the different methods and explain what they used in my situation to achieve 30ppm co2?

use a DIY PVC reactor and run it inline with your canister filter. best co2 difussion you can get!

and how much co2 your running? my flow rate was so fast i could not count the bubbles in the bubble counter :D

Rex Griggs Style from his website? any pics of one? do you just inject your co2 into the side of the 2" pvc and then put the 2" pvc inline with your filter inlet to the filter? or outlet from the filter?

Like This?

the problem with running them through the spray bar is that you still need the O2 exchange so you are going to have surface tension breaking which will diffuse the CO2 in the wrong area. I like running a power head with a syphon tube to diffues.
