Co2 in 20Gallon tank

Hai guys, i'm very new to this forum, and hope that i could make friends and also share knoledge. Well i'm trying to set up a 20gallon planted tanks and because i;m new to aquascaping there a few question that i would like to ask...

35x22x28 cm tank,
13watt 7000k Azoo light PL
DIY Cannister
serra co2 tabs

and all the vitamins for the plant and Ada powersoil

for the co2 should i used the serra co2 tabs or i need to buy the co2 equipment.

if i have to use the serra co2 tabs...would it be lost if i turn on the aertion for the night?

what plants do i need for this tanks?

i think the next best option besides pressurized co2 or DIY co2 would be to add Flourish Excel. i would ditch the tabs and use Excel instead
