I have a 90 with a wet/dry sump.I want to plant it ,but i heard the wet/dry sump will take out much of the c02 the plants need,is there anything i can do as i need the plants for my rams.inline co2?it was a freebie tank so i don't want to put too much money into it.:help2:please.

You might try a few low-light plants and see how they do. You might still be OK with the sump on there. If the plants don't fare well, then you would ahve to look at getting a Co2 setup.

I'm not 100% on planted tanks, I am learning as well.

Most plants don't need co2 injection. A wet dry will put a good amount of co2 into your water, as there is a lot of co2 in our atmospheric air. If you want to go high light setup, the the co2 injection will be needed, and you will go through co2 much faster than normal.
