I followed all the directions, but when I adjust the regulator for two second intervals between the bubbles in the bubble counter, it works for a while. Then a minute later it slows down, and keeps slowing until no more bubbles are coming up in the bubble counter.

My needle valve is screwed all the way counter clockwise, but I cant figure out what is wrong.

Anyone know?

Its a milwakee (sp) regulator with a 5lb co2 bottle on a 75g tank... this is my first time messing with pressurized co2 so I am not sure whats wrong.

increase your working pressure up to about 30psi

and I do that by screwing the regulator knob clockwise? or by messing with the needle valve?

yeah it would be the big black knob. the needle valve is used only to adjust your bubble flow rate

thanks for the quick response. When I do increase the pressure, the bubble counter goes crazy, am I putting way too much co2 into the tank then? I thought I should only have about one bubble every two seconds or so?

that just means you have your needle valve turned all the way open. close it all the way, then slowly open it to get the bubble count you want

all the way closed means clock wise?

thanks a lot for all your help by the way.

hmm i think so, all the way in i think. its been a few months :)

Ill go mess with it, I should probably take the tube out of the tank while i do huh...
