I was thinking of switching out my generic regulator, currently on a paintball CO2 canister w/ a CO2 Regulator made by Milwaukee Instruments.

Anyone have any experience with them? They seemed decently priced, esp. since it comes w/ a bubble counter, solenoid, and needle value for under $100.

However, I want to continue using my Paintball CO2 canister, as I am running it on a small tank. My main question however is whether such a regulator would work with my Paintball CO2 canister? I noticed that Red Sea differentiates their regulators as normal vs. paintball canister. Is there a difference between the fittings etc? -- since the Milwaukee one does not specify use w/ paintball tanks.

yah i think that the outlet port on the tank id bigger on the paintball tank. where are you getting it for that little?, i can only find that package for around 240 in stores???

On ebay you can often find CO2 reg combos with a pH controller for $150. Paintball co2 cartridges have a smaller theading than medical/welding co2.

Thank you WyldFya and portabuddy for the prompt response. You guys are awesome. Are there any particular brands that sell ones compatiable to Paintball Canisters? All I have seen so far are the Red Sea ones. Those are quite pricey though.

Portabuddy: I saw it on www.thatfishplace.com. But yeah, i couldn't figure out if it is compatiable with the paintball canister (I assume not though), as it doesnt say.
