CO2 where to get it and how much

I have thought about doing co2 in my planted tank and wanted to know a few things first.

1. Where can I get co2 and how much is it
I have been told paintball places (.25 cents a oz) and welding shops.
2. Are there different types of co2
Was told to get FOOD GRADE co2 is there such a thing

I got my co2 system from aquacave. 10 lb bottle, solenoid, ph monitor, and large diffuser was around $300.
I get my bottle filled by a bar supply store. Cost like $18 and it lasts over two years

If you are going to do it, do it right. Don't do paintball or DIY, just buy a real regulator. I can hook up up with someone from the planted tank, who builds and tests his custom made regulators. That's what I did, all I need is the tubing, diffuser, tank, and drop checker.

i have a twenty pound bottle that i get filled at a local welding shop/gas plant. that bottle only lasts me 3 or 4 months though. ive never heard of food grade c02 anywhere.
