So yesterday I ordered a new CO2 setup, and today my boss calls me and tells me that he has shipped out my co2 unit that was ordered about 2 months ago. So now I will have two co2 setups, but only one planted tank that needs it. :irked:

sell the other one

I already have too many tanks. I currently have a 150, 135, 2-55, 26, 20, 2-10, 5.5 and a partridge in a pear tree.

I've actually considered throwing it on my wifes 55 gallon, but that tank is not setup for plants really. It still needs a good substrate, better lighting, and ferts. This is a possibility though, but all it has is amazon swords and anubia barteri and nana currently. Oh, I also added some star grass from my 135.

It actually has already sold. You can buy a good milwaukee fully automatic set on Ebay for 161.99 right now. That is a killer price since generally that setup WHOLESALE is 250+.

Growth difference is dramatic between the diy co2 and pressurize. The growth on my plants has more than double since using the yeast/sugar co2 reactor. Co2 reactors are great for smaller tanks, and tanks that don't have plants with a heavy co2 need, but my tank needs a lot of co2, and I had 3 2 liter bottles running on it just to get a decent level, but not optimum. I wouldn't recommend DIY co2 for anything bigger than 40 gallons. Pressurized for 40 gallons and up.

Basically the same thing that happened with my tank. I'm sure four 2L DIY bottles were too few for a 125 gal, but the growth of the plants is at least 2x, it not 3x with the pressurized. Plus, not having to keep track of when to change out bottles, let alone the process of setting new bottles up, certainly makes pressurized worth it.
