I just started my diy CO2 set up again after getting my new light.
I am just wondering how long its going to take to notice a difference in growth or color of the plants

i also heard co2 helps get rid of hair algee

a consistent supply of co2 will most definitely get rid of it. Unstable levels, like the ones caused by DIY set-ups, are what cause hair algae in the first place.

you can also prevent those kind of algae by puting some Amano Shrimps and Oto's.
