Now I know on a general note African cichlids are aggressive of have the tendency to be but can anyone help me how are cobalt blue zebras to aggressive any information from personnel exp. to general knowledge would be a great help !!!

Depends on the individual fish...the one I had was real mean...made all the others hide in the upper corners of the aquarium and constantly chased them, had to get rid of him.

I believe this to be true of all fish. I have a P. socolofi and L. caeruleus who are just devilfish and my M. auratus is nice as can be... unless you go into her nest.
Generally speaking though, they tend to be moderately aggressive.
 
Yes individual fish have their own personalitys.. and i also found them to change as they mature.. one that maybe very aggressive can become mild and easy going... but africans in general are aggressive towards each other.. they will stress the less dominant one to death.. and you may not even notice it happening.. so when you get a mix.. that works out.. it is wonderful.
 
i believe having females my up the aggression. I have a CBZ in my 240g with mainly peacocks and haps and havent had any issues but each fish is different.
