cobra growing out for friend

Are u sure it´s a Ch. Marulius (cobra SH)?? - it seems to me that Ch. Marulius has a "bulls-eye" (black with orange ring around) spot on the tailfin??

Maybe it´s an emperor-snakehead - Ch. Marulioides... looks a lot like Ch. Marulius but without the spot on the tailfin...

Maybe some of the experts in here can clear this out

hi mate , your right ,this one is channa Marulioides ,i should know better than use common names ,around here most refer to Marulioides as cobra

it's a juvenile maruloides (emperor snakehead)

Got that sorted out then

Ch. Marulioides is only aprox. half the size of Ch. Marulius - and therefore a lot easier to handle in a private tank

Stunning fish anyway... wish I had one
