Just picked some of these up for the first time, notice that they don't have an adhesive side like the Zoo Med's do, I'm wondering what you guys use to stick them to the bottom of your tanks?

I'd like to avoid double sided tape and maybe find something that will stick it flush to the tank, any suggestions?

what do they expect you to do then?Maybe they just lay under the tank? Are they more solid than the zoo meds.

oh i saw them now,i think they are used for racks more,so you can slide them out and not all the wireing.i cant think of anything.Buy some racks.

Foil tape is good. If you go with racks, just get regular heat tape and a thermostat. I don't know if the cobra mats have a limiter, so maybe you should get a thermostat anyway.

It's a Vision Cage 211, there aren't any holes to run a plug inside the tank - it's already ugly enough with a thermostat and temp. probe going in from the front. I used foil tape to stick them to the bottom of the tank and they're both plugged into ALife 1000's.

Nice cages... shame there aren't many around here, we have to pay through the nose for herpteks instead :irked:
The only reason I asked why you had to tape it to the bottom is I can't see it would make much difference if you have set the cage on top of it...

Mmm, cobra heat pads are very very thin, I felt more comfortable having it directly against the tank.

Could try LLLReptile.com for some Vision cages...fairly reasonably priced.

EDIT: Just noticed you're overseas, sorry. Hehe.

I was having troubles getting temperatures above about 85 with tile in there, so now my leo's are on repti-sand and the hot spots are comfortably sitting at 90 degree's. Guess I'll have to feed them out of the cage or by hand, no worries =)
