I have a friend of mine that is a cichlid breeder. he is where i get all my stuff from. what he doesn't have he can get. he's gettin me a blood red asin aro in the spring when its season i guess... and get this... im getting it for 400 bucks. heres the thing. i saw a picture of a "cobra" pike on the internet. wow, pretty fish. i called him right away. he said he doesn't have any but he could get some....but they are a lot of money. when he says a lot i know he means it. does this seem right or are these fish really that rare?

65-75 dollars each is what you should expect, depending on size of course

heck yeah. THey're juvie coloring is incredible. Just know that pikes go through a lot of color changes. A full grown female will lose that coloring and get incredibly red.

I've seen somebody selling one for 50 dollars, but imo, I think it's worth it.

Good luck finding one :)

Haha...nadus you need to get a brighter picture...cruise through this forum bro, i have a ton of pictures up of my cobras....;)....granted they are still in juv/subadult coloration. They are expensive pikes, ranging from $50 to $150 depending on size. I wouldn't go boasting about the asian aro. on here though, as there are game and parks peeps that cruise the site, so yeah...could be bad for you...;)

I'll take some more pictures of my cobras tonight after their water change....haha...and throw in a couple pictures of my xingu II as well...just for you bro! :P
