My cockatiel's been acting a bit weird. Every once in a while, while on a perch, she'll lean over so her body's parallel to the floor, tailfeathers down, and will make low chirps almost continuously. It lasts a while-never really timed it. Anyone know what she's doing?

I think your bird might have found something fun to do. Mine will sometimes hang upside-down and spread its wings. Itll make this "laughin" noise while doing it. It also picked up a tapping, itll tap against the bottom of the cage at random times.

Yeah, mine have done that too. I also think that they're just trying to stay entertained while living in a cage. Unless she starts plucking her feathers, I say you have nothing to worry about. Once they start plucking, your bird's lost it :screwy:

Um, I have 15 of these little darlings. Are you SURE you have a female? This is something my males do. Usually when another pair is mating. My female amazon puts her tail UP to rub against stuff. And so do the parakeets and cockatiels. Also, females are VERY loud when doing this kind of thing and the males are quieter.
Mine cockatiels will hang upside down and make squawk noises or something when they want a bath. (I use a spray bottle)
