I think I am going to get a male cockatoo dwarf cichlid to add to my 65g planted freshwater tank
I currently have a severum, gold ram, german ram, keyhole chichlid (all fairly young) and a small pleco, along with 6 harliquin rasboras

Opinions? So far what i have been reading seems to say that it will do fine but the more info the better

I have cockatoos and rams, and they're great together. My rams lived with my boyfriend's severums for a little while when I didn't have enough tank space, and they did really well, so I don't think you'll have a problem. I don't have any personal experience with keyholes, but from what I've read, they're very peaceful and should be fine. Sounds like a cool tank!

Thanks :)
I thought it would all be fine, they are all similar temperment wise, the only thing im worried about is im not sure if one male cockatoo is ok to keep, should be tho

You might want to get one male and a 2/3 females, but you could try just getting one and see how it does. I see a bit of a difference in the personality compared to the rams, so yours might want friends other than rams/ severums, etc.
