i have a pair of cockatoos in a section of my 35 gallon tank, thanks to a divider. they have about a foot of tank length. although cockatoos are colourful, i would like some more movement in that side of the tank, as the half with the jewels and catfish always has movement, and i would like to see the parental care of my dwarves at its peak. so i was wondering if i could put anything that is colourful and could act as a target fish for the cockatoos. any opinions are appreciated, and lets keep any could-be arguments at a minimum (as in none). thanks:)

thank you so much. i'm having a rough day (chores, science fair project due wednesday, so i've been working like crazy, and other crap), and i was going to snap if i didn't have a response by now. anyways, i would like to do tiger barbs, as i have never owned any, so it should be interesting. do you think i could do like 4 without any livebearers? thanks for your help.

i would say barbs not tiger if you have a group of less than 6-7 thay like to nip fins and may leave your cichlids with ragged fins but mabye rosy, cherry would be best golden will probably need more space to move around but would be a good choice to

Maybe some of the larger tetra. Blackskirt or maybe congo.

ive kept black skirt tetras and , i donno, just expect them to tear eachothers fins to s**t, i had a shoal of 10 in my 220 awhile back and youll see tham establish dominancy its really cool but they do get to lookin pretty ragged
