Some updated pics of my adopted cockatoo Marley.

for those of you who don't know, he USED to pluck his feathers before he came to live with me.

they are known for feather pucking when the are bored and have no toys to play with, or when they get no attention..which is why he plucked.

his previous owner went on vacation and left him with his(the guys parents, not marley's) parents who only fed him and gave him water, when they need at least 3 hours of "interaction" time..either playing with their owners, or being out of their cage, and with someone they know.

this guys feather have really flourished though, the feathers on his chest will never grow back though, as he damaged folicles when plucking, but his wing and tail feathers are growing back nicely

he's actually very quiet.

he's been trained to talk instead of scream, i have had him for 3 months now..and he has been loud once...the day we got him.

my parakeets make more noise than him.
