While I was at work some guy showed me some realy cool crays and all I know is there a squat lobster like a saltwater porcelin crab. Any info would be helpful. :headbang2

The crustacean above is neither a crayfish nor a freshwater organism.

Do you have Aegla in mind? Species of this South American FW genus (rather distant from crayfish) are Anomurans, and are thus closely related both to squat lobsters and to hermit "crabs".

What do you mean, it's not freshwater? You just wrote it's a SA freshwater genus. My buddy's got ten of them.....in freshwater. Do they need Brackish to breed or something?

Oh, you mean the pictures aren't Aegla sp......

ya sp. Aegla. I was only going by seeing them for two mins so my pics arn't very accurate, but you get the idea. do you know anything about them? Because id like to pick up some.
