arowanas eat cockroaches right? i put a cockroach in my aros tank, but he didnt eat it, and i know he saw it...

Cockroaches may make you sick, but do you realize how much germs in the tank water? You could get sick the same as eating cockroaches, if you drink your tank water, but the arowana won't

cockroaches has like a hard shell (the wings) that arrows dont like to eat.
i tried with mine, he spit it out.
once i took the wings off he ate it though

Your aro is still a baby, but IMO should have gone for a tiny cockroach.
Anyways, don't risk your aro's health to cockroaches.

Its better train him to accept quality pellets & sticks from juvenile stage.

Also people spray them with "kill all bugs" spray. If your aro eats that you're in trouble.
