Hey guys, I was just playing my brand new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on my xbox 360. Was having fun until I came across this mission,

I thought that we were just going to shoot our guns in the air, until bullets just get unloaded onto the people. Very intense. It was a unique mission where you get to be the terrorist, but was it really necessary? Imagine 12-13-14 year old kids playing this mission. There has been school shootings and now they still allow this mission to be out?

The storyline makes perfect sense though, you are an undercover American agent who is trying to take down one of the guys who is on the mission with you (Makarov). You and his crew go to a russian airport and just shoot everybody. The mission ends with Makarov shooting you in the head, when people find a dead American body, Russia declares war on America.

Any thoughts on this?

So a game saga based on killing people is ok, but in an airport now its wrong, people look to far into games.

It's a video game. It's rated 'M' for a reason. Having 12-13-14 year olds get "traumatized" is the fault of the parents for letting their children play a game clearly marked as not being suitable for them.

I don't think people that would be traumatised would be allowed to play that game. their parents would sensor them too much

While it's no different to playing GTA or whatever, in the context of the game, there was no need to put the level in as playable and was a shameless publicity stunt to generate a lot of media attention as they knew it would be controversial. I'm not bothered by the content personally, just thought it wasn't necessary. It was boring and killed tha pacing.

Dunno.
I know they were making a game based on the battle of battle of fallujah but they cancelled it because it's too soon.

So they can do this but I still haven't seen a WW2 shooter with a german campaign? Whats up with that?
