coffee filter

so im always looking for better filter media to go inside my canister filters. ive currently been using pillow stuffing for my micro filter and its working good but could be better, i was wondering if anyone has ever used or heard of using a coffee filter as a micro filter, just looking for thoughts on this idea.

Sounds like a bad plan. I think it will either clog rapidly or fall apart rapidly. IMHO

the white ones are also bleached to make them white!

I use plastic pot scrubbies for bio media...much cheaper than noodles or bioballs.

Look up a diatom filter.
