coffee table aquariums

Has anyone every seen or had any experience with a coffee table aquarium. My hubby and I saw them in my fish mags and would love to get one for the new house but I want to know if they are a hassle or if the are well worth it. They look so neat. Do u keep the the skimmer and filters underneath it? where do u feed the fish from?

Any info would be great!!!

OMG!!! i've seen those and sooo want one!
the filter and stuff i think IS under it and there's a gap between the top and sides of the tank, that's where i guess you are supposed to feed them.
the only problaem i would see with these tanks are fish jumping out of the gaps and salt building up around the top and blocking your view.
