SO I just got a coffee table Aquarium, and I am really not sure how the filtration will work. The filters are inside Black overflow type boxes on the inside of the aquarium. The LFS sold it to be used with Sponge only filters.
I can not imagine these sponge filters doing much, but the black boxes are pretty limited. They basically can fit a a pump and the current "sponge filter". How Do I improve the filtration in this aquarium ASAP?
Can I fill one the legs with Bio Material? Does it need additional Water flow?
If I keep the sponge filters, would it be beneficial to get some higher powered Pumps? The current pumps are 40W and 2500 L/H.....
