agree it can be done, barring any overly aggressive specimen that just hates the other, but generally yes

if I were to do it - - and I think you can - - I would do either male convict + female salvini, or both female . . .

:P oops, well right now i have a male convict and a female pink convict and a small salvini in my 120. im not sure on sexing salvinis can someone help me out?
 
Post a pic up. Usually, the females will have a lot more red on their undersides, a black spot on their lower gill plate, and a lot less blue spangling. I've noticed black on the dorsal is not always true for sals..
