So I was at my brother in laws the other day and he had these cold cathode lights running in a pc he made. A light went off in my head. Then he told me how much they cost. They're like $7.00 he says. He showed me some he got for free. Now, the thing is, they're made to run off a PC power supply, which can be had for about $14.00. So for $21 you've got a nice moonlight system.
So you're yawning. Here's the kicker. Cold cathode lights can be dimmed simply by reducing their voltage. So if you guys can find a lamp dimmer on a timer, your in business!
