cold or warm water change?

just wondering , for like 6 months i us to heat up 300L of water in my car port with heaters to change the tank water ive now got sik of walking from the other side of the house with a buck of water! so now i stick the hose in and fill her up. this is all well and good in sommer now coz the water drops like a degree or 2 in the tank wen full of cold water but what do i do in winter?

get an aqueon water changer that connects to your faucet.

no a faucet as in the sink...... get a water changer like a python or aqueon water changer. look it up.

I always try to match the temperature and turn it down about a quarter of a degree.

Always try to match your temperature as good as possible... You don't want your tanks temp fluctuating too much, especially for colder.

Just try and match the temperature. Dont make it complicated. I only drop it down a little because of breading purposes. Almost acts as natural rains. I have read that works and it has for me in the past but it may be luck.

thanks but i was told not to put walm or hot walter from the house pipes because it can come from copper pipes and the coper is poisones or somthing is this true?
