Cold water catfishes?

hi all, i was wondering what kinds of large cold water catfish there are. i want to put some into one of my ponds

Basically anything from Ictaluridae.

So channel cats, bullheads, flatheads, madtoms.

probably any of the different hillstream cats from asia, africa and south america. But they dont get imported too much so your best bet is north american catfish.

oops didnt see the large part. Kind of a Duh given this is MFK.

Then definately channels or bullheads.

Yeah, actually you might be able to find some in asian groceries that sell live fish. I've seen bullheads for a couple of bucks.

Go fishing....JK good luck and channels, blue catfish, and flathead catfish are all large native north american catfish that would thrive in your pond. Good luck finding blues, or flats unless you're going fishing for them.
