Ok I want to add some live plants in with my chubs and bluegill. I want to do it now before they are old enough to dig them up. I was just wondering what plants can I put in there. I want to just go to the pet store and buy some but I don't know if they will live. The tank stays between 68 and 72. Well last night it was at 75 but that isn't normal. Thanks guys

Howdy,

Go to a local gardening store with a pond section. Most have a great variety this time of the year. I always recommend Elodea for cold waters. Grow like crazy. Or, if you live in a rural area, just go to the nearest lake

Milfoil, Elodea canadensis, long leaf pond weed, cabomba, ludwigia, parrot feather, riccia, and hornwort should all work.
