I'm going to maui this summer and I've been looking at bringing home fish I have the permit any members want to help me out on where to fish what i can't take and best way to ship them home
I honestly have no clue but maybe you could ask somebody on this thread who has experience in collecting:

Go to Lahaina pier and take a straight pole made out of bamboo that you can purchase from a fishing supply store and fish with store bought shrimp from the nearest grocery store.
that won't work the permit only lets me use a fine mesh net or trap and i'm not much of a fisherman
