As you may know, prior to my trip to Mexico I collected questions from members regarding collecting in Mexico. I then turned them into a series of videos. We leave for Panama on March 18th. Last time around we had a great response. So here it is again:

Do you have any questions you would like to ask about the experience? I will take a handful of the questions and try and get them answered while we are there...and then turn them into a video response on my return.

Here's the intinerary as we see it right now:

Likely we will be stay in Panama City the first night . The folowing day we will secure dive tanks and supplies for the trip and proceed to a small town near David called Santa Fe. Here we will secure 4 wheel drives for the 2-3 day trip over the ridge. We will basically camp out for this portion of the trip. The place we want to go is the Rio Luis (name of town) on the Rio Calovebora. C. altoflavus (our target fish) is actually from the Rio Cana, to the west of Calovebora. There might be a new Chuco species in the Calovebora and rhytisma and something weird like loiselli. Rusty said he don't think anyone has been here yet so who knows what we might find.

Primarily becasue of the difficulty in getting there. We have to travel over a large mountain range...part of the reason we will be camping out for three days.

But that's a good question to include. I should be able to illustrate that with the video.

Good luck and careful of THINGS GOING BUMP IN THE NIGHT

You have to have an import license. And depending on the country possibly a vet certificate (gotten there). Even with all that, customs may delay or grab your fish.

Thanks for the well wishes. Any questions you want me to ask on the trip? If you don't know what I am referring to, watch my Collecting in Mexico videos.
