Collecting natives on Los angles

Does anyone know if it is allowed to collect fish such as bluegill in Los Angeles? The links in the stickies aren't working for me so I thought I would post a thread. If it is legal does anyone know of some locations where I can easily collect native fish?

I'm not sure here in California the laws always have a catch. I would think you'd have to order as if you were to stock a pond however then you'd have to order in bulk. There are people that have game fish in California for their private tanks it's just a matter if they want to sell them or not
