I'm starting a 60gal planted soon and wanted to collect some wild plants. Its getting late in the year and I think If I'm going to do it, it should be sooner then later. The stand isn't built yet but I plan to have it finished within 4 weeks. If I collect some plants can I put them in a tarp full of water and lay them in the sunlight? Will they survive, or die quickly? I'm guessing in the next month wild plants will start to brown.
