If you're looking for something a little more "special" in terms of a setup, i find that Krobia sp. "xingu" do well in groups of 8+. The lfs owner sold me a trio of his and he had 8 in his tank dedicated to them and they actually looked very good together.
Mine are also doing fine as a trio (no spawns yet, but definately courting with both females)
Also, i have seen setups of 6 or 8 Aquidens Rivulatus (the actual Green terror)
So i'm leaning towards thinking Gold saums could thrive under the same conditions given enough space. Nothing i'm sure of though as i haven't seen it done yet.
The common gold saum is bigger than the original A. Rivulatus
