Color change Kirin parrot

Hey guys, I just got a Kirin parrot last month and I think it's a new favorite! I'm really tempted to buy another to be honest - though I think I might wait until I'm sure of the sex for this one.

I stole the light from my goldfish tank for the new cichlid tank (as they're near a window, I never really used this light for them) and it really brought out the colors.

This is the little guy just recently.



And this is the little guy under an old light, about ten degrees too cold.



Huge difference! I'm really excited to see how it develops over the long term.

Might be female because of the black dot by tail. Really nice pick up! How much?

I got it at Pet Zone for $27.99 plus shipping. I think I may get one or two more at a later date because I enjoy the coloring so much, my phone camera doesn't do it justice.

Update! As you can see, this one isn't being cooperative. She's almost definitely a girl, so I decided on Rey because I'm a second gen irredeemable star wars nerd. I ended up removing the larger blood parrot from the tank due to bullying. She seems to be out center stage more often now.

I'm tempted! But I don't have anywhere to put her tankmates if she and said mate decide the entire tank is theirs now.
