Color change

any one know why my auratus cichlid has changed color from its pretty yellow to black?

cichlids are always changing color it could be stress, it could be sick, it could be absolutely no reason at all

i thought that but iv seen them in the stores like that she has been this way for almost a year now i have a pic of her in my photo gallery

yup, males change to black. it'll be a dirty kinda black. females dont change.

When I had Mbuna, my Auratus was notorious for diggin out his "spot". And only did it in the night hours.

oh he dont care when it is he never stops digging all day and night its crazy X)
