color change

does anyone know when at what size a male Metriaclima lombardoi will start changing from blue to yellow?

around 2". if you happen to have a batch of only females though, the dominant female will also turn yellowish

i only have 1 metriaclima lombardoi about 3-4" with some other african cichlids it looks like its getting kind of lighter but that might be because of my gravel (i have blue and black gravel) when the lights on it looks like a lighter color. will it turn a darker blue if its female?
