I have at least 6 cherry shrimp in a 10 gallon right now. But it seems like every time i look, the colors are always different. Yesterday, i had 3 reds and 3 whites, today i checked, and i had 5 reds and 1 white. Is this natural, or is there something wrong. I just did a water change and they get enough food, but my tank temp. doesnt always stay consistent, could this be the cause of it?

does anyone have an answer for this, news update, 3 red and 3 white

Shrimp will adjust their color to their surroundings. If they spend a lot of time on a black sponge filter, I notice my red cherry shrimp get darker. If they are on a light substrate more often, the RCS tend to get more clear (less pigment). It's normal.
