Does feeding color enhancing food have any ill effects on the fish? I don't mean natural foods like shrimp, but the flake or pellet with color enhancers added. I have never used them because I didn't know if it had the same effect as dye. Thanks

Color enhancing pelllets make a great staple for any fish.....Saves the trips to the Asian Supermarket every week....LOL....I find myself spending 20-30 dollars on fresh and frozen shrimp every month....When I have Oscars in my arsenal, I buy pork heart and chop it into peices, freeze it, and feed the parts as weekly treats.....The list goes on and on with fresh food, but every fish of mine in the past was always trained on pellets from day one.....After bbs, my fry are trained on crushed pellelts.....Hikari Color Enhancing pellets are found in all my tank cabinets....

New Life Spectrum is the best staple for enhancing your fish's colours. Within a month of starting feeding fish Ive purchased I notice marked difference.
